If you happened to be watching the week long story on the ABC Nightly News, a show I once worked on and which, at one time, had ethics, you saw a blatant attack on the vitamin industry with little supporting data. I only saw the Monday, Thursday and Friday reports but noticed a few interesting things.

In both the Mon & Thurs reports about the “dangers” of taking too many vitamins, the spokespeople interviewed gave strong “tells” that they were lying when they blinked their eyes and looked down as they said the word, “dangerous.” This is a dead give-away.

I also found it interesting that the “studies” used were never named.

The Friday report cited an English study that concluded that “Aspartame” was safe and that no further studys were necessary. This in the face of mountains of reports of the daners of this chemical, used in over 4,000 food products. Dr. Joseph Mercola’s web site at- www.mercola.com -alone has over 180 articles relating to the dangers of this food additive.

The real irony is that, right after these, so called, news stories comes a commercial for a drug company. We’re being hustled folks and, if we’re not careful, big pharma will have us eating out of their hands.

We’re the “speak out and demonstrate” generation. Let’s not forget that.
